Digitization is the method, but not the purpose of destroying books. Once history is digitized, it becomes a version, or you may say that whatever version of history is first digitized, would be for all intents, revision one. Creating a digital history provides us with the ability to simply edit or revise the digital version, thereby creating a forever dynamic history.
